Endocrinology Clinical and Research Fellow
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Joslin Diabetes Center
Sean is a clinical endocrinology fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Joslin Diabetes Center. He received his MD from Creighton University and completed internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. He has a long-standing interest in diabetes and hypoglycemia, and has prior experience with using technology to develop a glucagon delivery device paired with continuous glucose monitoring that would automate the treatment and prevention of severe hypoglycemia. He is excited for his training in translational research and continued education related to both hypoglycemia and diabetes. His primary project explores glucagon physiology and the development of a glucagon delivery system to manage hypoglycemia.
In his spare time, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife, writing and listening to music, and exploring any good recent sci-fi movies and TV shows (always open to suggestions!).
