Jaquelin is from Peru. She earned a MD degree from Universidad Peruana Union in 2022.

She believes that to do the greatest amount of good for others we should make the most of all our faculties. Learning about physiological processes and metabolic diseases through comprehensive research is a stepping stone in her journey towards endocrinology career where she longs to make meaningful contributions towards improving the quality of life for those impacted by these illnesses. 

To have a balance with the academic life, she loves to go on mission trips, and outdoor activities, cook new recipes, and last but not least enjoys playing or listening to instrumental music.
