Hamayle graduated from medical school in Pakistan in 2020. 

She then completed her medical intern year there, following which she worked at an outpatient endocrinology clinic. 

Prior to joining the Patti lab, she was involved in developing a national digital diabetes education platform in Pakistan, backed by the World Diabetes Foundation. She is interested in the research undertaken by the Patti lab on the mechanisms of hypoglycemia and is passionate about evidence-based clinical practice, improving patient outcomes and advancing medicine through scientific inquiry.

In her free time, she enjoys perambulating through and photographing urban landscapes, reading speculative fiction and writing poetry.
