Bassam is originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and currently pursing his MD at the University of Ottawa. In his downtime, you'll often find him shooting hoops on the basketball court, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or unwinding to some hip hop music. With a passion for understanding metabolic disorders, his long-term goals include advancing his skills as a clinician and contributing to research in the field.
