A big shout out to our collaborative team investigating the pathophysiology of post-bariatric hypoglycemia - especially Snehal Chaudhuri, Sloan Devlin, and the Devlin lab, working together with the lab of Eric Sheu and the clinical and basic science teams of the Patti Lab! Our results demonstrating alterations in bile acid metabolism and potential new approaches to treatment were published in April 2025 in Nature Metabolism! Great work everyone! Team science is really important to make progress!

Congratulations to Rafael Ferraz-Bannitz for his publication identifying alterations in serotonin metabolism in post-bariatric hypoglycemia, published in Journal of Clinical Investigation in September 2024!

We are excited to announce that the results of the ARMMS-T2D clinical trial were just published in JAMA in February 2024. A big shout-out and grateful thank you to all the participants in the ARMMS-T2D clinical trial who generously donated their time and enthusiasm to help others with type 2 diabetes!
