Brief bio

Dr. Marion Soto is currently working as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Joslin Diabetes Center/Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on how diabetes affects brain function, in mice and humans. The aspiration is to prevent cognitive decline in people with metabolic deseases, through innovative treatments and technology transfer from the bench to industry. To achieve this, she learnerd entrepreunarial skills and how to commercialize healthcare products through different programs at Harvard.

Prior to her post-doc position, she received her M.S. degree from the Ecole Polytechnique (Paris, France) in 2011 and her Ph.D. degree in Nutrition and Health / Neuroscience from AgroParisTech (Paris, France) in 2014.

Marion is French, loves surfing (in warm water), travelling, and more.
