Research Fellow
Dr. Marsel Lino is a post-doctoral research fellow in Dr. C. Ronald Kahn's lab at the Joslin Diabetes Center/Harvard Medical School. His research aims to uncover novel inter-organ communication networks by studying tissue-specific exosomal miRNAs in models of obesity and diabetes. Dr. Lino obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Toronto (Toronto, Canada) in 2019, where his research uncovered a new function of the protein DDR1 in regulating obesity and metabolism in mice. Marsel loves to cook, eat, and travel.
